ABSTRACT

Erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) and C-reactive protein (CRP) are the most frequently used acute phase reactants in clinical practice. They are commonly used in rheumatology practice, but they are also used in family medicine, infectious disease clinics and emergency services.
