ABSTRACT
Thromboangiitis obliterans (Buerger's disease) is an inflammatory, non-atherosclerotic, segmental, vascular disease primarily affecting the distal small and medium-sized vessels of the lower extremities. However, distal arteries of the upper extremities, large arteries and/or visceral arteries such as mesenteric arteries may also be involved rarely. Herein, we report two patients with mesenteric Buerger's disease, one of whom having no abdominal symptoms. Patients with Buerger's disease should be carefully evaluated with respect to mesenteric involvement which may be asymptomatic as in our first case.
