ABSTRACT

In recent years, cytokines related to Th-17 axis have become a focus of attention in the field of rheumatology, as they have been implicated as potential therapeutic targets in spondyloarthtis (SpA). Herein, we briefly discussed the significance of Th-17 axis in axial SpA (akSpA). We mainly focused IL-17 and tried to summarize new advances in the pathogenesis and treatment akSpA.
